I loved this place. This is a B&&B about two blocks from the primary thoroughfare (Mitre) in Bariloche. it&'s extremely clean and thoroughly very good value for Bariloche. Bernardo the host is a top man and speaks fluent English. He is keen to help with your plans for the location but is not pushy in any way. And he does a extremely very good breakfast from 8am every single morning. A clean, convenient and friendly option for Bariloche. Not within the guidebooks but it should be.

We decided to stay at the Antiguo Solar B&&B right after we saw the overwhelmingly positive feedback and I can say that the feedback is well merited. As soon as we arrived, Bernardo made us feel welcomed and settled. He showed us a map of the area, and gave us good advice on exactly where to go, and exactly where to eat. We never felt pressured into going to these places, and we felt that he genuinely wanted to make sure our stay there was as comfy as it could be. The guest home itself is very cosy, and there were cooking facilities there as well, which my girlfriend and I took advantage of a couple of times. Bernardo politely asks that the other travelers be considered, and refrain from cooking meats, which we were happy to do. The location is very convenient, with the center a 5-7min walk away, and the buses to any of the hikes very close by as well. Overall my girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay there. We thought Bernardo was a fantastic host, the location and price for the room were fantastic, and wouldn&'t hesitate coming back again.

Bernardo and his household are fantastic and very welcoming into their guest house. Upon arrival and following meeting the household dog, Bernardo sat down with us and helped us plan out our two days in Bariloche. He suggested fantastic activities within our schedule and budget restraints and guided us to local hangouts we wouldn&'t have otherwise found. He helped make reservations and teach us how to use the public bus. He even lugged our 55lb bags up the stairs. The place was very clean and quiet; other travellers staying there were similar to us. Room was spacious and the whole spot had a cute boutique hotel vibe. Breakfast was delicious and included fruit, bread, and cake; he even sliced a watermelon for us.

Bernardo is a great host. The breakfast was fantastic. Room was clean, fresh and airy with a gorgeous garden view. Outstanding shower. The breakfast is great.

We loved staying at Antiguo Solar. Bernado was so helpful especially when we needed to stay an extra night (which we were really pleased to do so! ). He even made some breakfast earlier than scheduled when we had a trip booked. It was like a house away from home. It was really clean and we had a lovely room at the back which was so peaceful. Small touches make all the difference like 2 towels! 2 bedside tables and lamps! soon after travelling and staying in awful hostels it was refreshing and comforting to stay somewere so lovely. Couldn&'t recommend it enough!

The individuals at the hostal are really warm and friendly and helpful. When i missed a bus they called all the bus organizations for me to uncover another bus. The food at the hostal is outstanding and the rooms are clean. And when you have visited the hostel you will be a large fan of the hostel&'s mascot Mamu but which is another story. I would recommend this hostal to everyone who are looking for a safe, clean spot which is more a second home than a hostel.
