I liked the common house where they had breakfast in the mornings. It was quiet, but still very fun.

I stayed in a private double room and everything was very good. The location is perfect, breakfast is very nice and staff are friendly.

This is the friendliest and nicest place we have stayed in during our trip. The staff were so nice and made us feel like part of the family. They helped us organise our tours and the location was also perfect (2 minute walk to centre of town)

This was the best hostel we've stayed at in quite a while. The shower was very weak but still piping hot so not really a problem. The staff were so helpful and you really felt like part of their family. Great breakfast and great facilities. Internet was very fast.

The owners were extremely nice towards us and helpful in planning our activities. They also have on-site laundry which was very convenient after being on the glacier in pouring rain all day.

Delightful place to stay with beautiful gardens. Care started with email the day I booked offering information and they were very helpful.

I don't have any complain. Very clean and well located, just next to the Bus station, very important for me as I had to take the bus very early in the morning. Staff is wonderfull, all of them really helpfull and veryyyy nice people! They give you all the information you need. I would recomend it to any one and If I go back to El Calafate I would definetelly stay there!

-I would recommend it mainly because of the very good location: one block from Bus Terminal and 2 blocks from Avenida del Libertador. -The house across the street with the private rooms are worth the price: good acommodation, comfy beds and good shower. Just a little dark: it could have extra lights. -It doesn't encourage social gathering or displays nice common areas to know people: just some tables and mattresses over a couch compose the common area. -Bad money exchange there: US$1=3, 10 pesos while on other places of the city US$1 could be woth 3, 50 pesos(!) -Offers internet access but it has only one computer and you have to pay for it (1 hour-6 pesos) -Average frindlieness of the hostel staff (it depends mostly on the employee you're talking to): on the last day, the front desk lady charged me 100% of the hostel rate, but I had already paid 10% when I booked the room at Hostelbookers. She didn't say anything and when my brother (who was travelling with me) talked to her and complained about it, then she said that she hadn't received the deposit by hostelbookers, that is, she tried to gain extra money from us and didn't offer to solve this problem at anyt time, was only interested in the values.
