Staying at this hostel was such a exceptional experience, this is primarily down to the welcoming hospitality of Celeste and Mike. They encourage individuals to socialise which was gorgeous as a solo female traveler. I would recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Mendoza (how could you resist free wine! ), but book early simply because they get filled up. Also recommend the wine tour, ask either Mike or Celeste for a lot more information!

Lao is a fantastic hostel but NOT a wonderful hostel. I have stayed at around 200 hostels and Lao would rate as average to good.

Excellent hostel. Clean, fun, with a wonderful owner and staff. Had an awesome family-style asado dinner my first night here. Fantastic food and met everyone else inside the hostel! Free wine during the night time too.
