This hostel does not supply great value for money. There are far much better choices in Ushuaia, for example staying with families with spare rooms, a a lot more pleasant, clean and friendly stay etc. Employees at this Los Cormoranes were not particularly interested, quite abrupt. Although the hostel has the normal facilities, it was not particularly clean with an awful breakfast option. To be avoided.

This hostel does not present very good value for money. There are far greater choices in Ushuaia, as an example staying with families with spare rooms, a much more pleasant, clean and warm and friendly stay etc. Employees at this Los Cormoranes were not particularly interested, quite abrupt. Quite faaaaar from the city centre, and all the way up, Up, UP. but don't let that discourage you. All the rooms are outside the main building, and also the bathrooms, which makes it very anoying when you want to pee in the middle of the night and it's freezing or raining. Other than that the place is ok: large kitchen with very good breakfast and facilities to cook, nice common area with internet access and tv. Heated rooms, nice beds but pillows too thin. Lockers in room are very useful (bring your own lock). Not a party hostel, so you will have a nice rest in the night since rooms are separated from the noisy areas. Plus: two lovely cats.

Average hostel, average facilities. One particular employees member was brilliant, the other couldnt care less.
