The hostel was so close to the beach and shops, so that was great. The employees were really cool and went out of their way to help me during my stay and helped me to book all our tours. The rooms were clean and I loved the en-suite bathrooms.

I really liked the place, because it was a bit of a retreat from all the hectic traveling. There is enough to do, like the scooteroo tour, which is really awesome. It's a lovely place to stay for a couple of days. I rated the safe and secure as average, because the doors didn't have any locks, so, stuff could have been stolen easily. But you leave your valuables at reception and one of the few places where you're certain people won't steal anything is 1770 backpackers. The staff is very friendly as well. :) Their service was really good and they were always happy to help.

Clean, some of the staff friendly. Kitch hot as no fan, no locks on Dorms which was odd though can put small items in Safe but finding a staff member to do that can be difficult depending whos on duty!

Nice hostel and extremely clean and close to the Greyhound station but there are no locks on the dorm room doors and so safety is a problem and there is nowhere to lock away any valuables
