The hostel was in a outstanding location, it was not crowded, the facilities were great, and everything was really relaxed

Price was alright, there was parking right in front of the property. Games were accessible within the living/common area.

The cooking area was well equiped, the bath rooms were clean along with the location is handy to everything in Katoomba. there is also a entirely functioning washing with washing machine and dryer which was great.

Its location - mid way between the stores in town and the Echo Point/ 3 sisters lookout and bushwalking tracks. No issues with car parking - often plenty of on-street parking out the front

Very cosy with a really nice atmosphere. It&'s very clean for a hostel and Angela was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, 10 minutes walk to train station/coles/aldi and so on and 10 minutes to Echo Point! The toilets and showers were really exceptional clean. The rooms aren&'t cramped and each bed has a wall half way along it, making then semi private but this doesn&'t detract from the social environment of the hostel.

It actually IS like coming home! Such a small hostel, extremely private, extremely cosy. You instantly know everyone, facilities are good, beds are comfy, washing is free, breakfast is provided. And you get the the fourth night no cost too. If I hadnt already made plans, I could stay for ages!

Very quiet. The hostel is a house with 14beds in 3 rooms. Really clean. There were only 4 individuals staying so it felt like house - extremely different from the crowded and noisy hostels i was used to.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT (since Dec 2011) - TOTALLY DIFFERENT TO REVIEWS PRIOR TO THIS MONTH (i. e no no cost goon/wifi/pleasant management/cleanliness) The only great thing was the environment and this was pure chance, based on the group of people who were there at the same time - not created by hostel/owners.

It&'s a really small, familiar hostel. The matress was really great for a hostel and it&'s in walking distance to Echo Point. There was bread, milk and cereals for breakfast for free and a large living room, with games and TV. Also the bath rooms are really nice. There a two real bath rooms with large showers and window. I liked the front area, with some chairs and benches and a table.
