1) Staff: Were friendly and helpful 2) Location: Very close to public transport, food places, and cool pubs (Our Place! ) 3) Rooms: Stayed in 8 bed mixed dorm with A/C. There were only 3 other people staying inside the room and all were lovely so I felt secure about leaving my stuff there throughout the week. 4) Facilities: Plenty of bath rooms to select from, all not really clean (wore thongs in shower) but not too bad for hostel. The low priced food deals was fantastic (Steak&&Cake/Wed night/$5! ). I was cold the first night and reception was happy to lend me a blanket for free. Washing machines/dryers are free (just need your own washing powder) which was an unexpected bonus. 5) Safety: As a single female safety was def a concern. I felt secure the whole time I was at this hostel although i must add that the actual security inside the place is not really very good (homeless ppl continually coming in) but thankfully i didnt have any negative experiences related to safety. 6) Value for money: As i got to stay inside the hostel during a sale period and only paid $16 a night (for a $23 per night room) i was really happy with what i got for what i paid.

It&'s cheap in case you sleep in a 21 bed dorm. it&'s inside center of the valley and next to the few stores there. the employees is extremely friendly and they&'ve got a free pool table and loads of movies to watch inside the common room. and you can use the washing machines and dryer for free. :)

Had an outstanding time at this hostel! Very nice common room for relaxing, meeting other guests and using the free wifi, friendly staff, kitchen with fridges etc :). Rooms are huge with airconditioning, sooo nice! We even had our own bathroom with 10 people mixed dorm.

Very nice and helpful staff. They helped us booking a low price tour to Fraser Island. Everything was really effortless going without getting in trouble for a delay of extending. There was nothing to complain about. Pick up service to the stores (Woolworths+Coles) included.
