This place was dirty. Me and my Swedish friend were a bit upset about that. My friend would have changed the hostel if she stayed at Magnetic Island for longer. The Kitchen was disgusting. Honestly. They didn't enough pots and stuff to offer. I don't mind about cleaniness that much cause a hostel isn't a hotel but I must say that this was a bit too much. Hostel wasn't that cozy either. Somehow it seemed so empty to me. We didn't talk to people that much. And there were only a couple of people plus us. Security was okay but rooms TINY. Maybe with a group of friends together this hostel would be okay enough but if you are travelling alone, don't even bother.

Very cheap. very simple place but lovely. the internet is expensive but they have lots of movies. and nice pool. for the closest supermarket you have to take a bus so bring everithing with you. it wasn't ideal location but is was more quite from the other places. I really enjoyed there and the staff is lovely

Nice place, silent and relaxed. Basic but comfortable with warm and friendly staff. Nice to have a break from busy hostels

There is not really anything to do in Picnic Bay once its dark there is certainly a bar and a couple of restaurants yet not a lot else. Nearest shop is in Nelly Bay which is about a 4km walk or the bus runs every 45-60mins and picks up and drops off outside the hostel. Bedrooms exactly where clean as nicely as the air conditioner is needed! The staff exactly where helpful yet not around very often
