The kitchen was extremely clean and properly equipped. No cost breakfast was also very good too. Great location nearby quirky Chapel Street, which has a wide selection of alternative bars and eating places and AMAZING retro clothing stores. I would much prefer to stay in this portion of town, in contrast to the CBD, which is actually quite boring and no different to any other standard city. Facilities in hostel all seemed quite modern. Shower was also excellent. not one of these drippy ones that you get in many hostels. Beds sooooooooooo comfy.

Its so close to chapel street, the primary hubbub of nightlife, inexpensive eats and general cool places! The tram stops right at the end of the road so you can get into the center no problems at all. It also has a really personal really feel as well as the staff are always around for help!

A nice small hostel, free breakfast lasts till 11 and 12 on weekends, very helpful and friendly staff, cable tv, nice area

The setting is extremely friendly and familiar. Its not directly in the center but if you are looking for a quieter spot its a superb choice.

Nice small hostel with homely atmosphere. Breakfast was better than at most other places I&'ve stayed at.

This hostel has a cosy really feel to it and as it&'s relatively small it gives you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the rest of the travellers quite quickly. The employees are warm and friendly and far more than willing to supply any advice. It&'s a brief tram journey from the CBD and it is situated close to Chapel St. which has numerous shops, restaurants, etc.

Has character. Despite the rundown exterior and somewhat messy interior, the place is full of character, warm friendly individuals inside the dorms made the whole experience a complete and engaging one. Will definitely miss the individuals I&'ve met there. Plus, free brekkie!
