It is an outstanding spot to sleep, it&'s really quiet in the night! And you can hire dvd&'s to watch on your room, so that was nice as well. You have free coffee and tea in the morning and ree internet.

Absolutely warm and friendly staff, as many others have said Pat is a genuinely wonderful guy willing to help you with anything. The hostel is extremely comfy due to the fact of its size and it being a converted home - it has a extremely good, homey environment to it as properly as the individuals are a nice group that always bother to ask how you are and no matter whether you have any plans. Chapel Street is extremely closeby which is a street full of each and every shop youll ever need, with a Coles and Aldi for inexpensive groceries. All in all a fantastic experience.

Pat and Alicia are stellar individuals who will go to all sorts of lengths to help out visitors and see to their needs concerning logistics, extremely warm and friendly and sweet people. As far as facilities, there was a fridge and cubbies for storing food and a kitchen and a TV room with DVDs, and wireless available. Lockers and linens are provided and you can cook in the kitchen in case you clean up following yourself. It&'s a three-blocks&' walk to the metro and buses all over the place. About 30 minute walk to the botanical gardens and a enjoyable stroll to the shopping district. About a 40 minute walk to St. Kilda. The location wasn&'t that close to any traveler points of interest but it wasn&'t too far away either.

Free wireless was superb and easy to get to the middle of Melbourne. Pat was really helpful but reception hours were a bit limited.
