The employees really make a difference here, especially Victoria and Tobe, very welcoming and willing to help out with what to do in and around Melbourne. Exceptional location as close to the station and a brief walk from the cities significant sites! A nice relax out room downstairs and clean dorms/showers too make it for me.

Well, location was good. and kitchen. That's about it. horrible noice all night. no A/C at all times. just max. 2h. and for asking it to be running. Not coming again. sorry.

Unfortunately they have rooms near the tv area so it can be noisy at times, but the place has character! It's really close to the bus station.

The location is fantastic - right by southern cross station, the city centre and the principal sights. The employees are extremely welcoming and informative. There is certainly a social atmosphere, with some exceptional communal areas, and points like the $3 family night make it wasy it familiarize yourself with others staying at the hostel.
