I enjoy this hostel! You should live in WBL when you travel to Perth especially for those that are having working holiday. The employees are extremely nice and friendly. They also helped us to search information for our sightseeing. Individuals living there are friendly and they treat the hostel as their home. They will ask you to chat and have fun! You won&'t be disturbed during night time. And we feel secure while living there. The bathroom is clean! The hostel just located near the Scarborough beach! but a bit faraway from the city.

This hostel is a great place for people who want to work near Perth. The hostel is small, cosy and has &'a family feeling&'. Most travelers stay here for about three months. The most effective thing is, that&'s it&'s close to the beach. The bus from Perth takes about 35 mins to get to the hostel, so a car is recommended.

Western Beach Lodge is an awesome place to start off your travelling - I was made to feel welcome by all employees and residents. There are quite a few long termers here which is fantastic as they are so helpful when your first arrive inside the country and need advice! This was my first place in Australia and it made travelling here by myself not so daunting! The location of the hostel was ideal - extremely close to the beach and straightforward to access the city centre by public transport. Would recommend this hostel to everyone, the owners have it just right!

Great location, only 5-10 minutes walk to Scarborough Beach. Staff were friendly and helpful, and were even kind enough to help me carry my bags to the dorm! There was a large games room and TV lounge, perfect for socialising with fellow travelers. Security was good, lockers were provided in dorms. There were also kitchen and laundry facilities. The place was more like a home than a hostel. I really enjoyed my stay here, and will definitely return here if I'm in Perth again.

Right next to the beach but still straightforward to get in and out of the city. Lots of places to chill out and socialize but kept noiseless at a decent time. Free bodyboards and surfboards. Friendly employees and a very nice atmosphere.

The staff are amazing! The location is sweet - 5 min from the lovely Scarborough beach. The atmosphere was the hostels very best trait!
