The owners exactly where friendly, helpful, and often willing to go above and beyond to answer any questions you may have about exactly where to eat, shop, or just relax. The place itself was clean, nicely maintained. If you want a room, absolutely nothing fancy but a great clean location to lay your head then this is the place. As I said just before the employees was great. I would recommend this property to people traveling alone, or a couple who wish to say in a basic room no frills.

The guesthouse is in a prime location, known to the locals as &"the Gap. &" An entertainment strip with ample bars, eating places and convienience shops. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The place itself has the friendlist employees I&'ve ever met and also the residents at the time of my pay a visit to were equally as nice. Towels are free - and you can ask for beach towels on your way out. Kitchen is huge and also the balcony/terrace is fantastic for socialising and meeting fellow residents.

Rio Hostel is in a great location just off the main street of the Gap. It's really easy to get too and around and I felt really safe walking home at night. The room had everything I needed and the shared bathroom, kitchen and balcony were clean and tidy. The owners are lovely and really chilled out and I met some amazing people and had a fantastic stay. Free WiFi and local calls were also a bonus!

Very difficult to rate because we've been here just 1 night, but it doesn't matter because we don't like Barbedos at all.
