I really enjoyed sataying here, although it was exclusively for one night. We arrived very early inside the morning. One of the owners let us in and allowed us to have breakfast. In addition to this we were travelling with friends. They had no room at the hostel but still allowed them to have breakfast and helped them uncover other hostels too.

Really friendly and calm atmosphere. Excellent &place to have relax and have fun with other travellers. The beach nearby is beautiful and you can take a boat from the jetty to ilhe campeche which is lovely. Excellent cooking area facilities to use and a marketplace next door. It is straightforward to get the bus from outside the hostel to other parts of the island.

The staff is really friendly, they have a nice television with a lot of English television channels, it is close to the beach 15 min, by foot and near to 2 supermarkets.

If you are the type of traveller who prefers get to know the locals and their lives instead of party hard all night this is the perfect place for you (if not, head up north of the island). The owners are amazingly kind and this place has far more the really feel of a home than a hostel. I loved it. Also, it&'s right next to supermarket and bus stop so you don&'t have to carry your heavy backpack for long.
