Was a great deal price/location and Joe was really helpful. He speak a really great english. Because I wasnt there to take a look at Manaus but the Amazonien forest, I didnt stay a lot of time but was great and I meet 2 nice person there!

Nothing. We liked leaving it! We had paid extra for a private room as we were arriving at 2am from the airport. We were given a room, in case you can justify that in a name off the public area. It was hot, tiny and grubby. There was a small window and no breeze or ventilation through the complex. Despite it being early in the morning, the owner/night manager was rude and unhelpful. The signs all through the location highlight the fact he knows his travellers will be unhappy there- Ie no refunds! Pay in advance! Etc etc

Joe, the owner makes this place. He lived in the US for many many years and understands service. He is incredibly friendly and helpful and we had a lovely stay here. Its great value for money and includes breakfast with 'real' bread (salty NOT sweet! ). Its very close to El Teatro Amazonas and nearby are many really good restaurants. We also did a tour to the Meeting of the Rivers with Netto and Tomas who found us in the hostel and Netto was one of the best guides I have ever had the pleasure of doing a tour with - great value. All in all an excellent value for money stay that made dreary Manaus much nicer.

Nothing, I never stayed there but attemptede to get them to pick me up at the airport as promised in their ad. I had absolutely nothing but excuses and finaly I gave up.

I liked the fact that everything was outside and they played music throught the day. the guy who does the tours is really nice.
