The staff was great. I arrived at 6:30AM along with the owner allowed me to sleep. The location was ok too.

Well located at 300m from the center on a flat walk. Beds are correct, clean linens, some lockers available, TV in the room with cable (mostly Portuguese channels), hot water in the shower. The boss speaks English and Spanish but he is not here all of the time.

Friendly staff, however most of them do not speak English. Exceptional location und breakfast.

Nice hostel, very very clean, good location, very nice breakfast and such a nice staff in general. It was ver quite but I guess Ouro Preto itself is very quite so it's perfect to explore the city and relax, but not to meet people. But anyway, you wouldn't stay in wonderful Ouro Preto more than 3 days which is more than enough.
