Good location on beach, but there is certainly a beach much closer to town with hostels overlooking it. Outstanding bar with very good food, if a little overpriced. Outstanding extras like free pickup, kayaks etc. Hostel is clean.

The hostel is a quite nice location to relax (visited in off season) and has a great restaurant, where you can have delicious food for diner. You can cook inside the outdoor cooking area as well, in case you don&t care about the mosquitos inside the evening. The breakfast was great and like others in brazilian hostels.

Very nice atmosphere, music all of the time. No cost services offered such as kayaks, tv, playstation. etc. Staff is very useful and friendly. No cost internet. Rooms are extremely comfortable. Great breakfast - lots of fruit and fresh juices.

Really warm and friendly and helpful employees who made our stay in Paraty really enjoyable. Lots of facilities for no cost at the hostel including kayaks.

Great place, great staff, excellent food, and a bar, all right across the road from beach, beach isnt the greatest but it was nonetheless lovely. took about 20mins to walk into parachi township.
