Everything. The couple that run the spot are lovely. They go out of there way to make you feel welcome. The spot is spotless clean. Fantastic HOT showers, nice HUGE cozy bed, wonderful breakfast. David even took us to the bus station when we asked for a taxi. Excellent hearted people, pretty place. nice pets, bicycles to get around town on. Wireless in all the rooms.

Clean, large, spacious rooms. Employees went out of their way to be helpful and make suggestions for ways to spend your time in Paraty. Breakfast was attractive with a great selection and plenty of fresh fruit. David, the owner, was even kind enough to organise an early brekfast for us on the day we were leaving. The Location is extremely excellent and it is only a brief walk into town where you pass some extremely nice and chepaer restaurants.

Best location we stayed on our 7 month trip. Fantastic breakfast. Owners are very friendly. The location was spotless. The rooms are large and airy and made up everyday. Wifi included.

The most relaxing place weve stayed yet. The owners are really warm and friendly and helpful and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing along with the lodging itself was super spacious and really clean and welcoming. We loved afternoon tea in the most relaxing chill out area, reminded us of home! Also fab swimming pool. Thanks David & Jimena for a best stay.

This is a really fantastic location to stay. We came here from a terrible hostel in Rio (Eco Backpackers) and arriving at Pousada Guarana was amazing! The rooms are lovely, large, clean and properly equipped. The communal areas are fantastic as well, with a fantastic pool location and dining room. The breakfasts were amazing, with homemade cakes and lots of fresh fruit. Much more than anyhting, we found the owners and employees to be incredibly kind and helpful. This was the finest location that we stayed in over a month in Brazil. Highly recommended!

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. They really went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our time in Paraty and in all of Brazil. The location was outstanding too. It is about a 15 minute walk to the center of town or a 5 minute bike ride. They have bikes you can borrow at the Pousada to take to town. The pousada was also really clean and secure to walk around at night.
