Hard to rate this one - i&'ve given the rating for what the hostel really is like i think (which is a very nice and chilled hostel) but when i was there it did have a problem with bed bugs, which happens to hostels through no fault of their own. they were really helpful in sorting everything out though so don&'t let it count against you!

- Very, very clean facilities (the room was a bit dirty, but its most likely depends on the individuals inside it). - superb internet - nice and helpfull staff - a lot of easily accessible information about Rio atractions

Very good breakfast. good inet/wifi. very friendly and helpful staff. owner very fair in resolving a problem that occurred. felt secure within the hostel and also the neighbourhood. supermarkets nearby. good kitchen facilities

(this hostel doesnt give me any benefit to say this) this is one of my greatest hostelling experience, the employees Julia is super warm and friendly and helpful to any of our enquiries, and almost all kind of info are obtainable here, for example, we joined a tour for a brazilian football game and it is really nicely organized. Breakfast and location are excellent. Stay here if u take a look at Rio

It is located 3 blocks from subway, and in front of the property you can take the bus( bus is rio works 24 hours and takes you everywhere)

The spot is fairly cheap. there is lots of information plastered all around the walls for points in rio. one nice lady one reception.
