Very very good location, all the buses are just at the end of the road. The owners are superb too, so warm and friendly and full of superb advice. The hostel is really clean too and the AC within the rooms is superb at night. Nice breakfast too.

Super clean and a gorgeous place in a exceptional silent vicinity not too faraway from anything. Jacques is a cool man and his advices are unbeatable. Coffee was the greatest we had in Brazil!

Clean and superb value for money. The owner is really helpful, along with the beautiful girls in reception are really friendly. Wireless was fast and reliable, along with the breakfast was good.

The property is great, really secure and in a suburban household area. About a 15-20 minute walk to the train for Christ the redeemer. Felt secure in and around the hostel. Rooms were great, especially the air con! Which I have found to be quite a luxury in Brazil! Excellent relax out area, huge sofa, huge space to hang out with fellow travellers. The Owner is amazing. He will go out of his way to help anyone. Whilst we stayed there he booked tickets for the samba drone for a lot of people. Offered to take me to a soccer game (Botafogo), who he is really passionate about. also puts on a wonderful spread for breakfast!

The couple who ran the hostel and all their staff were incredibly warm and friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions for activities, how to get around and add to our visit. Laranjeiras is also a lovely part of town - well connected with nearby metro to get to other parts of the city, inside walking distance of Cristo Redentor and lots of local cafes and bars for chilled out evenings and local food marketplaces for self catering.

I&'ve found Brazilians to be incredibly friendly as well as the individuals running this pretty hostel stayed true to this - totally fantastic.
