I liked that it&'s one large room. I got to know everyone in there very well. Cool bar downstairs and very convenient location about a minute walk from the Metro. A proper hostel for backpackers. The employees in there are often getting pissed up but they are without a doubt, mega helpful. The Wireless is spot on and its cleaned every morning around 10:00. Best hostel to stay in during Carnival. Central to the beaches and Lapa, and right in between Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer.

Expect a hall with a lot more than 40 beds. 0 privacy. 1 sink for whole house. 3 open showers, no lockers. Not enough lockers. 0. 0% privacy.

The home is from 1850, so it is a lovely colonial house, and it is extremely pacious

Its cheap and near to metro stadium. So u can go anywhere using a metro or one bus.

The public areas are big. Showers are warm and strong. The guys running the hostel are friendly, but beware if you&'re blonde! Ha ha
