Good, safe location. helpful staff, barman makes a mean caipirinha! hot showers, reasonably clean bathrooms (not really enough for the hostel capacity though), beds a bit dirty, weird lumpy pillows |

I like the atmosphere of the hostal, it is a very good place to meet friends and go out. The rooms are quite small to have 12 beds in it. Breakfast is ok. The services offered are ok, except for the charge for using the Wi-Fi, I think it can be removed if the person stays many nights. |

Overall a great place, very lively, fun with average to good facilities. I would recommend. But. the rooms are TINY, like the smallest Ive ever stayed in for the amount of people. Just something to consider. |

After getting my bag stolen (no where near the hostel) the staff were amazingly helpful. As were the people staying in the hostel. It seemed to attract really good fun people. good location, not far from the beach. Very easy to organise onward travel and any tours/excursions through reception staff. Careful of the welcome caipirinha. its lethal!!! |

Great staff (the barmaid is the best), clean dorms and bathrooms, chill atmosphere but at the same time could be lively at night. Only thing is; beds are a little hard. but would definitely go back! |

Best. Hostel. Ever. The staff are super friendly and bend-over-backwards helpful, the whole place is immaculately clean, there are plenty of bathrooms for everyone and the breakfast is good. |

Small communal areas so enivitably youll meet other travellers. Good location very close to the beach. On the other hand the dorms are quite claustrophobic with 12 people on just as many squaremeters and seems kinda pricy compared to what you get. Maybe it is like that overall in Rio. Oh, very boring breakfast, if you dont like cheese and plain bread. |
