What an amazing staff! They were VERY warm and friendly and went out there way to create us feel welcome. Warm smiles, great attitudes, and entirely understanding when we arrived at 5:30am within the morning due to a delay in our flight.

Great staff and atmosphere! Exceptional location next to Pelorunho. On Thuesday wonderful street party with live music just in front of the hostel. Delicious breakfast, the best in Brazil. Extremely recommended!

The hostel is in a exceptional location in the Pelourhino, right next to the street party on a Tuesday nights at the same time as everything else in town. We never felt unsafe here and the hostel feels really secure. Its extremely clean. I saw the showers, toilets, floors, walls and so on being scrubbed from top to bottom every day without exception! There is certainly a basic (but again really clean) kitchen and a television room with exceptional DVD selection. On top of all this the staff were amazing! Hector (the owner) and Olivia on reception went out of their way to help us through out our stay and always had exceptional advice on exactly where to see the really best Samba or Reggae action.
