Stephanie and Natalie are really helpful and warm and friendly with things to do in Salvador. The breakfast was really good - fresh fruit, cereal and cake! We had a double room and also the room was serviced every single day which kept it really clean.

We travelled and stayed in hostels/pousadas for 5 weeks all around SA. This spot was our favorite. It was really safe, quiet and clean. The room had everything we needed, the owners were right there to help you out. Each morning Stephanie would talk to us about our plans for the day and would give really superb suggestions that you could only get from a local! I would deffinitly suggest and stay in this spot again!

The place is really nice, restful and confortable, also extremely clean. The location is good, just five minute walking from the beach and in a secure region but to begin with the staff is extremely kind and helpful. you can breathe a familiat atmosphere. I spent a really great time! !

We had a wonderful stay at La villa Francaise guesthouse the property owner Stephanie was extremley helpful. The location was great near to the beach and inside an easy bus ride of the centre of Salvador.

Very great and clean hostel in a great and secure quarter of Salvador (Barra). I especially liked my clean room, the friendliness of the employees and the cost for a single room ensuite.

Very friendly and helpful owners who appear to always be present - so different from numerous other hostels where the owners are merely a rumour. Good breakfast and no cost internet within reason. Just right.

Most of all I liked the friendliness of the two delightful owners. They were incredibly informative, helpful and considerate. Exceptional rooms, exceptional breakfast and good location. Without hesitation I would recommend this guesthouse to my fellow travellers. VIVA LA VILLA FRANCAISE!
