I arrived very late inside the night but receptionist led me to my room via phone. Really helpful and warm and friendly staff, very cozy bed and excellent location right inside the middle of the city centre, everything is straightforward to reach. Really superb breakfast, which is served inside the rustical basement.

Arrived late and receptionist waited for us and then phoned us to explain how to get in because we were 3 hours later than we said we would be and it was nearly 10 at night. Very helpful staff. Clean. Great breakfast. Room was large and contemporary as were the facilities. Quiet

Overall I had a outstanding experience at this hostel. The 8 bed dorm was recently equipped and quite pleasant. Breakfast was really outstanding - homemade yoghurt and everything included. The employees were helpful and friendly. They could organise a private tour to Rila Monastery or other locales. The location was good. Right near the begin of the no cost Sofia walking tours.

Very helpful and dedicated staff, friendly athmosphere that made us feel welcome. Lots of no cost maps and other helpful material at the reception to help you have a look at Sofia. Nice all-you-can eat breakfast, spacious double room. Laundry washing service was affordable and returned my clothes very professionally washed and ironed. Fortunately a non-party hostel - we loved that because we were living intensively and needed our rest. However, party animals will find dozens of bars and cafes within walking distance.

The Hostel Lavele was definately the best option for us. Situated inside the middle of the city center (though no traffic noises at all) you reach all of the points of interest including the bus station on foot, which really makes the difference in Sofia, simply because lots of other hostels are far-off the center. The hostel is young and has a special design, the breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Fresh filter coffee, tasty jam, vegetables in case you like. The beds are heaven. Extremely nice place indeed.

The Hostel Lavele was certainly the top choice for us. Situated in the middle of the city center (though no street noises at all) you reach all of the points of interest including the bus station on foot, which really makes the difference in Sofia, simply because lots of other hostels are far-off the center. The hostel is young and has a special design, the breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Fresh filter coffee, tasty jam, vegetables if you like. The beds are heaven. Very nice place indeed.

The breakfast buffet was included and they made their own yoghurt and bread which was really tasty! They also supply cereal, jams and cheese and sausage. coffee and tea. Location was perfect. near to sights. They kept baggage for free.
