The hostel is located in a very good area in Montreal and the main room with couches etc. was very comfortable. |

The location was excellent. Jeff was a warm friendly face who really looked after people. The place had character. nice high ceilings, hardwood floors, etc. Our room facing the street was beautiful. On the downside, there only seemed to be 2 full bathrooms for 50 + people. The walls were thin and the hallways were noisy. The kitchen table on the morning after a night or revelry was very dirty. Most importantly, with the concerns and seriousness surrounding the H1N1 flu, the level of hygiene and the ratio of bathrooms/sinks to number of guests is a huge problem. The 2 bathrooms did not have soap. Please install hand sanitizers in the hallways, kitchen and bathrooms. |

Great neighbourhood with a lot of local people in the bars and parks around the hostel. Very friendly staff. Maybe not the most tidy hostel in town but a place to feel good. |

Cant check in before 5 pm, absolutely NOT downtown:you have to walk about 3/4 hour to downtown(centre-ville)/st-catherine street, or take metro, but thats too expensive (2, 75 $ fee). the hostel is way too small and there are too many people, and so its really croweded, a great place for thiefs, we were stolen 50 bucks right out of our pockets while we were sleeping. not enough toilettes and showers. Jeff (staff) is friendly. |

The beds are quite comfortable(in the private double-bed-room) although they don't really look like they are. Around the hostel there is everything you need:many restaurants, stores, shops, cafes and the metro is just a few minutes away. The staff was very nice, too. The bathrooms are a little bit dirty, but we were okay with that, since we had sandals;) |

It was cheap - i thought the location left a bit to be desired, it was at least a 10 minute walk from Mont Royal Subway station |

Wonderful location. Very nice interior decor - every room has a character, and the general look is very fun. But the best part was Jeff! He works there and he is just God's gift to travellers! I've never met someone so helpful and friendly. He did us a million favours and was a pleasure to interact with. Overall I recommend this hostel very much. Good price, excellent location, safe, and clean enough. |

The location was absolutely wonderful, the best part being that almost every Montreal hot-spot was within walking distance. |
