The employees was really helpful, they explained everything really well. Rooms were nice. Beautiful balcony and rooftop was there for us to enjoy.

This property, although small. It was comfortable and gave a home away from home feeling, it had cute balcony which were awesome to just relax on :) location is great! Close to subway as properly as the culture of Montreal is wonderful. Walking to old port is 5 minutes. The employees willing to give advice and help as much as possible

Was in town for the grand prix. Outstanding location. Fairly clean for the price. Definitely an older building and it was hot during the night time but absolutely nothing that you wouldn&'t expect for a hostel at this price. Would not hesitate to stay there again

I was able to find a free parking spot right out front of the hostel on Rue Sherbrooke in a seemingly safe and well-lit area. (After having to pay 15$ to park downtown just to stop at Tim Horton's this was a great relief. This was a great location within the city, and easily locatable on the maps all around the city. The staff were warm and helpful, with great recommendations, and very accommodating. I highly recommend!

Certainly an OK place to stay with. Be aware though if you parked your car on Rue Sherbrooke or the surrounding streets, ours was broken into soon after just a few hours (I realize that this is not the fault of the hostel at all but I thought it might be worth mentioning)

We stayed at a b&b - chez francois - just across fomr lafontaine park. it is a compeletly refurbished montreal 3 story walk up. the park is lovely, ponds
