Super warm and friendly staff - chatted with me at length about my reasons for visiting Ottawa. Spotlessly clean - they take the clearing out of the refrigerator very seriously.

The hostel is located downtown only a 5 minute walk from alot of points exceptional place for metro stores bus routes staff are exceptional really welcoming and really happy to help with anything all in all an exceptional stay many thanks

Really clean ; cheerful atmosphere. Doesn&'t look like an inn but like a little inviting house. All convenience (wifi, 2 computers, large TV and HUGE bathroom).

Basically nice household hostel with huge shower inside the first floor and really comfortable lounge with huge TV.

This was maybe the greatest hostel i ever stayed in. it is a such a warm, cosy, calm, nice place, it really does feel a little bit like home. if you plan to have a look at ottawa, you HAVE to stay within the barefoot hostel. the massive living room with a huge flatscreen and two computers and a small cooking area ist great. it is extremely comfy to sit on the coach and chat with other travelers. the rooms are nice and the beds are fantastic! the shower is really fancy and spacy. it is great, to see, how much thought was put within the hostel, there are so a lot of neat and useful details, e. g. each bed has a small led reading light, the towels match and and and. the staff is friendly and helpful. the location is great, you can do all your sightseeing by foot.
