I like the bar which was attached to the hostel, it was very lively the night I stayed and there were a number of folk bands playing which I enjoyed. I was also very please with the quality of food being served. The room was very large which is helpful when travelling with a lot of bags!

Sound from the bar doesn&'t travel upstairs if you need to get outstanding night sleep. Bar seemed pretty outstanding when we were there. Rooms clean and big.

This is an awesome hostel. Cooking area is clean and huge. Close to all points of interest and bus stop to the airport. Rooms are huge and clean. Staff warm and friendly and helpful.

Beds were comfortable, rooms were warm. Nice huge lockers. The location was fine, but Winnipeg down-town is pretty small anyway. Extremely near to Portage Place. Restaurant and bar extremely convenient. Cooking area was nice and big. Surprisingly the noises / music from the bar did not travel up to our room which was nice. It was fairly quiet, except for a tiny bit of street noises (cars and drunken girls on the street yelling out "woo"). Free wireless worked well.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and airconditioned. The hostel is situated in a central location, near to everything inside the downtown core. And it has an elevator!
