Downtown Hostel is completely fitted out and located right within the center of Punta Arenas. The place is only 100 meters from the Coach Station and a block away from Torres del Payne National Park. Please, note that for safety reasons and consideration to our visitors we reserve the right to turn the lights off and shut the door at 23:00 h.

Quite spot with few rooms, private bathrooms, even the 2 without one in the room. Owners are extremely freindly and helpfull.

The hostel is actually 4 rooms in a house in front of the owners property. It is nice enough and properly kept - more like a mini apartment but kithen is exclusively for making coffee. We booked a double room however on arrival were offered a triple room with single beds. Despite our booking and an empty double room for the period of our stay, we were only allowed this if we paid more. We were the only people staying so not a very good location to meet people and didnt receive any of the advice and so on talked about in other postings. But overall, not a bad location to stay in case you get your booking right.

Jose and Sonia were really warm and friendly and helpful in getting us settled and arranging tours for us in Punta Arenas. The hostel was really properly set up and we felt really cozy and safe. Punta Arenas was a first stop in Chile and Jose and Sonia made our stay so cozy we hated to leave.

Nice, extremely clean and quite hostel, located a few minutes to walk to the downtown location and just nearby to bus to Puerto Natales. extremely friendly and helpful owners! we went there again!
