Quiet location but within walking distance (20 mins) of most places of interest. Reasonable facilities, comfortable. Private room was good. Employees helpful

The hostel was really clean and fresh. It also has a really cozy really feel to it, other reviewrs have marked it as being a negative thing but it really just comes down to what you are looking for. No it&'s not a party hostel if that is what you are in to. If you want to go and hit the town during the night and have a quiet place afterwards, this could be your spot. Very good location, near to Metro and really central.

I am moving to Chile and it was the Hostal, and extremely much its staff, that made my choice to live in Santiago all the more easier. I was scared of moving out the United States when I moved here, but simply because of the individuals at Hostal Luna Calypso, I am now extremely pleased to be moving here

Pamela was a wonderful help! She went as far as typing up directions to help me take a day trip out to Vina Del Mar && Valparaiso. Also organised for a TransVIP airport transfer to collect me from the hostel at 3am to take me to the airport in time for my early morning flight. In over 50 countries I have travelled to the staff at this hostel were the most helpful.

Very helpful and enjoyable staff. Laptop and WiFi available. Plenty of warm water for the shower and a useful little kitchen. Small lockers were provided in the room. A silent location.
