The location is good, down a noiseless alley but walking distance to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The courtyard itself is stunning and the facilities within the adjoining Leo 2 Hostel are good. The employees are friendly and helpful and the location was kept clean. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and the food is good value.

I stayed here for a week in a private room with ensuite. The hostel is a lovely wooden structure as properly as the rooms are a exceptional size as properly as the enuite is basic but did the job. the employees here are incredibly friendly and often had a smile on their faces! most have basic english and some have really exceptional english. they offer everything they say on the description, more films then any one person could get through as properly as the wi fi is exceptional and free.

This hostel is perfect for summer or warm time of the year and not very good for winter, because the rooms (dorms) are cold and the bed sheets feel wet :( They provided every room with an electric heater but is you unplug it then in 30 min the room is cold again. I had the chance to see one of their private rooms and it looked very nice. The building itself is beautiful, but from inside, don't get scared the first time you see it, and it's bigger than it seems from the street. Bar area and their restaurant is nice too. The food is tasty and cheap, so if you're in Beijing and don't have idea what to eat, have a try there.
