I liked the friendly calm feeling, the kind staff and privacy if one wished. The location is great, hard to locate at first but if you want the real old china along with the setting give it a go. I found the holiday accommodation to be a bit cramped but practical and extremely comfortable. I must add a special thanks to Sammy for rescuing an old lost Aussie. Len. Knight

The employees went out of their way to create me feel welcome. They were genuinely friendly, informative and helpful. The occassional group evening meal was a bonus. The conventional courtyard home in a hutong was atmospheric, silent and charming.

Where do we begin, Sammy and her staff are completely amazing. We have been traveling for 6 weeks and this is the first time we have felt truly at home. The staff&'s kind nature and willingness to always go above and beyond for their clients, is felt from the second they open their doors. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here and we would extremely suggest INNer City to anyone looking for a WoW experience. We miss it already :( This property is so cool. Staying in a hutong was a great experience. The common area is WELL equipped and a great location to meet fellow travellers and relax for the evening.

I don't kow exactly where to begin. The atmosfere of the hostel is wonderful. The rooms are cousy and comfortable along with the yard and common areas are even better. The staff deserves all of the gold stars in my book, they are super friendly, they will help you with anything and they will do it with a genuine smile. The location is in a silent hutong and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the subway, not super close but deffinatly not too far. I would deffinatly wish to have stayed there longer.
