Even other Chinese people have said the hostel rates were fantastic deals for Beijing. 10 min walk (or less) to 2 different metro stations. VERY clean -- has A/C, really nice hot showers, and a nice gathering place for hostel guests. Would suggest their Mutianyu Fantastic Wall excursion, which is 320 RMB for breakfast, transportation, lunch, as properly as the entrance fee (not including the &"ski lifts&" up and down the mountain. this is perhaps a bit much more expensive than other programs, but definitely most convenient.

The Red Lantern made our trip. Clean, friendly, and a fabulous location. You feel like a component of their family, not to mention their english is exceptional and they are accommodating to anything and everything you could need. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a cool spot but I came primarily to meet other individuals which there seemed to be a lack of. Ita not the hostels fault but it was disappointing. Everything ales was nice. The hostel inside is cool with lots of fish and big communal area.

Genuine! A great Chinese atmosphere. Nice staff! We got free breakfast for staying for 5 nights. We stayed in a double with shared bathroom, worked exceptional as the toilets were never occupied, and they had numerous showers. Very nice location in a cosy hutong, 1 yuan food sticks right outside the door, which means dinner for 5-7 yuan! We did washing and that was 15 yuan/ kg. They can help you with train tickets booking but it costs 40 yuan/ ticket. The beds were comfortable along with the place was clean.

Good location, clean, food much more expensive than on the road but acceptable rates and tastes good. you can also book train tickets on the reception (for a small extra charge) for your further trip.

I loved my stay here. This is an authentic hutong expertise at Western standards. The staff provided great information. The location was great. The value was excellent. I really liked that other travellers met in a common area and it was easy to share travel advice. Atmosphere was excellent. You will not regret your stay here.
