Grace was so friendly and helpful! She picked me up from the train station, booked my train ticket back for me and even made me a pot of tea on a cold night. The spot was exceptionally clean and really close to the Great Wall. I loved it here.

We were delighted with our stay at this hostel. The owner was kind and helpful and it made a lot of difference to our stay. The spot was clean and you can see that there has been a lot of thought and care put into the upkeep of the place. There are a few day trips at fairly reasonable costs on offer which individuals should try to take advantage of. Overall, we had a exceptional stay and would recommend The Wonderful Wall Courtyard Youth Hostel to those that wish to make a trip to the Wonderful Wall a lot more than just a day trip.

The employees was great. it felt like Grace could not do enough to help! There were some really fun individuals staying there, and also the setting was awesome. Not to mention the restaurant, which was completely delicious-we extremely reccomend the mutton dish!
