Sim&'s Cosy Garden embraces the calm Sichuan way of life. The spot has a gorgeous relaxing atmosphere, a gorgeous garden with water and pleny of seating. I liked the location, its a brief walk from some fantastic open air food marketplaces with a great selection of low-cost street food (haggle) and extremely popular restaurants which spead out onto the pavement with folding tables and chairs. It is a brief bus ride from the city centre, close to bus station to take you to see the pandas, Emei Shan and Dafo (no need to pay extra for the tour) The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Don&'t expect them to be expert table tennis players though, keep working hard Nana and Lee! Sim&'s also serves the finest and most cost-effective food of any hostel i&'ve visited.

The employees is really friendly and make your stay just a pleasure. Also the spot is extremely noiseless (I was in a household room)

We live outside ChengDu and this is our home away from home whenever we come into the city. We&'d stayed at several hotels before we discovered this hostel and it has them all beat for about 1/2 the price. Outstanding atmosphere, lots of DVD, really great and priced reasonably western food. My 10 year old thinks this is the most effective spot ever.

The location is perfect. Real China. I arrived inside the early hours of the morning and was made to feel welcome. Really professional staff, warm and friendly. Wonderful food and service. I felt at home as soon as I arrived. This was component of my fourth go to to China, and I have to say that this is the most effective hostel I have ever stayed in.

For a backpacker lodging, Sims Comfortable is really value for money! I like the character of the lodge, its environment and atmosphere. Everything necessary is provided for whether it is in the room, toilet, restaurant or reception. Will return.

All, the place, the location, the food was fantastic and at extremely reasonable price, the staff were extremely warm and friendly and helpful, they offer you a extremely nice selection of DVDs. They have Wi-fi. The room was extremely clean, but don't leave any food or milk in there, a mice can pay a visit to you!
