Perfect location to catch buses to The principal tourist area. Really near Szechuan university which lead to great inexpensive food, inexpensive saloon, inexpensive massage. Really nice && helpful staffs especially jack, Lilian, Shannon && daisy. Wonderful lounge, super cleaning toilet for hostel and great room && bed with nice heater which is really helpful during winter.

We have stayed in most of the hostels in ChengDu and this one has the extremely best place for proximity to western bars and restaurants, the subway, and the airport shuttle. The ensuite rooms are extremely spacious and even include shampoo, etc.

Great location, very good value tour (I did the Panda + Sichuan Opera tour) for convenience. You could do it less costly yourself, but I enjoyed the convenience of being picked up and dropped off (no tour guide). You get 2 hours at the Panda reserve, a lot of time to see all of the panda enclosures, but it you want to see the extra stuff (research lab etc) you&'ll need far more time. Superb heating within the room (4-bed dorm), individual lockers and key-card access. The 4-bed dorm had 4 single beds instead of bunks which was nice.

I like it so much that I stayed there again when I returned to Chengdu a few days later. It&'s really warm in the rooms since they are equipped with Really powerful AC. They supply tall lockers which are suitable for my large backpack. Sheets are really clean. Its location is so nice that I can reach Xinnanmen bus station within 5 mins on foot.

The staff are ever so friendly and very helpful. They all speak fantastic English too. The location of the hostel is spot on. It&'s a brief walk to the centre and also the bus station is right next door which is outstanding if you&'re heading to Leshan or Emeishan like we did. We stayed in a twin ensuite, our room was really lovely more like a hotel than a hostel and also the beds were really comfy. We booked a panda trip through the hostel too which was outstanding value for money at 98rmb each. This included your transport there and back and you entrance ticket.

Very clean and comfortable room, a/c within the room and it comes with towel! Outstanding and helpful employees who speak good English. Super handy to take public transport as Xin Nan Men station is just next door. Even so, we had really good sleep in our room with the noiseless atmosphere. Toilet comes with toilet paper.

It&'s one of the greatest hostels I&'ve stayed. The employees is great. I needed to go to the post office and didn&'t know how to go there or if they could speak English and one ofe the guys from the reception went with me and offered to be my &"interpreter&". Loved staying there.

Very clean, including shower areas. Outstanding location for those that want to get around : the XinNanMen bus station is right next door, and it&'s not too far to head either east to LanKwaiFong, south towards US consulate area (Hooters / Bookworm) or north towards Mao Statue. Not walkable, but close by. Web was fast.

Loved the Street Inn - Warm and friendly staff, fantastic public areas, very good place for the bus station and airport shuttle, nice rooms and bathrooms. Especially loved the free of charge toiletries within the rooms. Would recommend if you&'re staying in Chengdu - stay here!
