The rooms are huge and spotless. Nice huge bathroom with great showers. They have free washing and also the food is great. Nice pool table and a great hang out area. Lots of info on tours and other hostels in China! Amazing Stay! By far the greatest hostel in China!

- Really low-cost - Really clean rooms/washrooms. Washrooms have soap and shampoo. Wonderful shower pressure and hot water 24/7. - Electric Bicycles that can be rented for only a couple of dollars and can go up to 50KM/HR, really really fun! - Tons of tours every day at very good prices. - No cost drop off to the old city bus station. - Can easily buy bus tickets, which made travelling around Yunnan very easy. - Payment of booking AFTER checkout, amazing! - The quantity of trust shown to travelers - can takeout drinks/food from the bar location and can write it down to pay in the morning. - Numerous social events like dumpling making party and snooker tournament. - The boss was very friendly and cool guy - Personal lockers under beds. - Dorm beds very comfortable, come with no cost towel usage. - Large screen TV with tons of movies, although I never got to use it. - Breakfast was well priced, and news on TV by bar location was great. - One of the very best hostels I&'ve ever stayed at - and I mean it

Dave and his wife made it a enjoyable location to stay for everyone. really calm place, really near to the old town, huge rooms, great food and great presents for nearby trips and bus rides.

Excellent rooms, on a par with some Hotel Rooms, warm and friendly employees and very helpful, a excellent range of tour selections for Dali and you get a no cost nights lodging when you beat Dave at pool, easily done! Definitely the very best hostel we have been to in China.

Everything! This is perhaps the really best hostel I&'ve ever stayed in. Dave, the Aussie owner, along with his really helpful and English-speaking staff, do not treat individuals as customers, but as house guests. They made my stay in Dali really enjoyable. I may just come back to stay a few days more.

What didnt i like would be a more effortless question. The food, the people, the service, the information. The atmosphere, Its the finest ive met till so far in china. Fantastic place. Also for a retreat its nice, ive got a dvd player inside the room.
