Staff really warm and friendly and great service. Only stayed 1 night but nice silent location with points of interest of a small lake, yet nonetheless really close to the centre of Guilin. Not many other guests so difficult to judge atmosphere!

Very great and noiseless location close to the lake in a dead end street (no traffic, a rarity in China), in the city centre so everything is effortless to reach, a lot of points to do on provide (rice terrace Longsheng, Li river cruise/bamboo, etc. ), very friendly staff, great english

Excellent staff - were all really helpful and friendly. There are lots of superb value tours on offer (Li River cruises, Lonji rice terraces) making points very effortless for you. Convenient location. In case you have time its also worth staying at their sister hostel in Xing Ping.

OK hotel for the price. When we stayed the hotel was empty and had no life at all. Restaurant/bar was pretty rubbish. The first night we were told all we could have was sandwiches as the chef had already gone home. at 7pm! Also the breakfasts were completely tiny. Employees were extremely friendly and there were no cost DVDs, pool table and table football and Wii console.

Got in extremely late as well as the dorms we had booked were full so we got a much far better holiday accommodation fir the same price. We also left our bags for a couple of days for free as well as the staff was helpful!
