Very convenient position for visiting Guilin city center, extremely warm and friendly and English speaking hostel staff, very helpful with travel arrangements and booking tours, reliable info I can fully suggest this accomodation

The staff were super warm and friendly and helpful - everything we asked for or needed help with they went out of their way to address. The location is fantastic on the lake - definitely the nicest component of Guilin. The room was lovely, great bed and facilities and real value for money. Also having a bar which serves food is a definite plus- gave us somewhere to come back to within the evening and meet people.

This hostel was much more like a small hotel than a hostel, the individual room where I stayed was cosy with plenty of space and a great bathroom. The location near to the central lakes in Guilin and near the main shopping streets is really convenient, with an almost constant view of the 2 famous pagodas giving a really relaxing backdrop. However, make no mistake, this place is inside the middle of the city and portion of a larger concrete structure, and not in some rustic log cabin. Staff were generally really helpful and friendly and spoke good enough English to be able to help with most items for non-Mandarin speakers.

Location is good. Right off commercial location which means you&'re near the middle of town and at the same time, out of noisy streets and traffic.

An awesome location right by shan lake. The double rooms were nicely designed with no cost soap + shampoo (ITS AN INN - 1/2 way among a hostel and a hotel). Kept extremely clean and cosy - possibly because the place is new No common room location however. There are public bus routes outside to lu di yan along with the 7 stars park (all extremely usefull! ). Elephant hill is also walking distance around the lake. Again, its a wonderful place in guilin but with a higher cost as its "an inn" not a hostel.
