We loved the noiseless location, near to the attractions but in an &'old school&' part of old town. Lots of cheap, local family-run eats. As Australians, it was nice being around domestic travelers at the hostel. It was great to see many young, friendly Chinese backpackers chilling out at the hostel. We had a private double room which was really comfortable. There seems to be ongoing renovations within the communal areas of the hostel so the photos on this website aren&'t really correct - lots of hanging washing about too but it didn&'t bother us due to the fact we were out all day. There was a new girl on the desk && her English was fantastic (thank goodness). We were thankful for her help and pleasant attitude.

Nice new place, with new rooms, staff was extremely helpful and the location is clean. we spent 5days there, confortable, situated at a quiet location inside the old town, but remember the same time, it is 5-10 mins to the commercial center --Si Fang Jie.

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. It was much nicer than we expected. I felt it would be the best hostel in Lijiang. It's very quite and clean, very nice. The staff was very helpful, gave me many good suggestios. I will choose it if I have another choice to Lijiang
