Clean enough, probably one of the better hostels in Nanjing. Western toilets but the cubicle is small so it can be hard to use. Good value for money as its clean enough.

We loved the restaurant on the 4th floor and Mimi the adorable cat. It was a cool location right by the Confucius Temple, some of the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable while others couldn't help us with anything. The hostel also advertises towels for hire, but when we inquired to rent some, we were told to go buy them across the street at the supermarket. We had a private room that didn't get serviced daily (toilet paper refill, making the bed), but it was cozy and had a nice view of the Chinese New Year madness outside. A reasonable walk to the subway. We'd recommend it : )

Location is good, not far away from Matro and Konfucius Temple is just right around the corner. Rooms are quite big, but if u come back late in the night u have to wake up everyone because there is only one light on the ceiling, ha! The new bathrooms are ok, but the old ones sometimes really stink like piss, Staff is ok and the Bar is nice (Dont try the Pizza, its not worth the money ;)).
