Good location, helpful staff, cat!, walls in corridors!, cheap music CD&'s for sell close to reception desk( but they won&'t give you any discount, even you buy a lot)

I liked how its is situated right beside fu zi miao. and the whole shop outlook look like a cafe. the room was fairly comfortable and they even have toilets with western seats.

Its outstanding but it needs a clear sign outside. After having mentioned this, the issue was explained to me and I accept and understand the difficulties. Being a 55 year old single male, living and working in China Jinan, and traveling with male and female buddies who like to sleep and stay in 5 star hotels, it was outstanding to see them also enjoying the company and food in this Hostel. Due to the fact it was so good, they insisted for 2 days that we would go back there for lunch and dinner. I can not think of a greater recommendation than the above fact where (older and supposedly richer people, hahahah) sleep in a 5 star hotel but for relaxation, good company, service, info and good food keep returning to a back packers. I personally liked the personal touch where on arrival the employees already new my name and kept persisting with this all of the 5 days I was there. It was genuine and I really appreciated this little but really crucial portion of customer service. I really liked this city, and I will definitely return to this city and this hostel as they have made my stay there really comfortable and relaxing. Also good info was provided which made my stay also a really informative one whilst nonetheless being simplistic and to the point. The fact that the traveler desk inside the 5 star hotel was "mostly unoccupied" made it even far more funnier. But we also went to the "free" XUANWU large lake and I would recommend that to everybody. Also I paid for almost all traveler attractions but with their English translations and explanations I was really happy with the entrance money spent. Will hereby highly recommend not only this "user friendly" city but also this extremely comfortable hostel and dedicated and willing to learn staff. Having spoken to the manager I can only comment him on his commitment to detail and service and hope for all fellow and future travellers that all his expectations and wishes for this hotel may come true. The employees were really warm and friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Nice common room area. Nice food. Met quite a number of interesting Chinese people there.
