Great location, really cool building. A bit of the old and new, our room had so much character and felt like a retreat. Modern bathrooms, clean towels, kettle in the room, free use of laundry machine! Yes, Free!

I love the 4 pillar bed && room location facing a courtyard. Although the room is quite small but it&'s value for money. The most critical is cleanliness && this location meet our needs.

Location was great: right on the pedestrian street along the canal, walking distance to several gardens, museum and to the contemporary part of the city with neon lights and the night life. The room was clean and staff answered all our questions. We were allowed to check in and go to our room within the morning without additional charge.

The charm and character. The location was excellent, right in the centre of the old part of town. Near to several traveler sights. The cafe/bar which is part of the hostel has a great menu with great food.

- Great location, right on fantastic walking street of PingJiang, within 20mins walking distance to Suzhou Museum, numerous gardens, and so on - Great cafe next door, with strong wi-fi, and open until midnight. - Staff were pretty helpful and kind - Got a nice culture expertise as hostel is among the canals and exactly where locals live. - Inexpensive rooms - Free food (dumplings, candy) during Chinese New Years!

The setting is good, you get a chance to live in an old house in one of the historic districts in Suzhou. Close to a lot of spots.
