Stephan was eager to meet our each and every need. He was extremely friendly and personable, had exceptional ideas of what to do inside the area. The property was properly kept, rooms were quaint and neighbors were friendly. We had an awesome stay and I would definately recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay inside the country but with quick access to the busy bustle of the city--just a 15 min walk or quick bicycle ride to town.

I can only say outstanding items about Stone Bridge. Victor and Angie were so, so helpful and it really didn&'t feel like your usual hostel. From the first moment, Angie gave me recommendations for where to cycle every single day (cycle hire a pinch here at 30 kuai per day) and she was often spot on with her suggestions. Victor has plenty of fantastic stories to tell (ask him about his work with the Yangshuo police) and both of them will lend you anything and organise totally everything for you - from a cheap cab back to the airport to a spare raincoat when mine decided to fall to pieces. The rooms were so comfortable, the shower fantastic, everything spotless. Oh, and make sure you sign up for Angie&'s home-cooked dinner. Sign up in the morning, add just 30 kuai to your bill, and be served up the most delicious selection of dishes to share with everyone. I almost don&'t want to carry on gushing about how fantastic Stone Bridge was for fear that individuals will think I&'m some sort of publicity plant, but I promise I&'m not. This spot is perfectly situated just outside the town and really, really has everything you want for a budget price. Character 10/10, staff 10/10, everything 10/10. Stay there.

I liked the serene location - away from the hustle and bustle of down-town Yangshuo. It was the perfect getaway, and not too far from town, either.

Spotless rooms, plenty of hot water, very good A/C && heating. But best of all were the great host and employees who were extremely warm and friendly and helpful and had a lot of knowledge of items to do within the area and China in general.

The whole place, including the dorm room with ensuite was spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and also the shower was excellent. The hostel was in a village outside yangshuo, which meant it was really peaceful and quiet. I slept really properly here. The bikes were excellent quality and reasonable to rent at 20y for the day. The owners, Jessica and Victor were really friendly. I enjoyed my stay here so much that i extended it for another 4 days.

A small family style guest house. It runs by Australia couple and they knew mandarin and cantonese speaking. An awesome place with value of money. wifi system is good. their conventional chinese food ( dinner ) are fantastic ! It makes me really feel " Home away from Home". They really did a superb job.
