We were in Yangshuo for almost 4 weeks to climb and booked this spot ahead of time. It wouldn&'t have been necessary since there are places everywhere but it was nice to have one thing set up on arrival. We had a hard time finding it initially and when we stopped at another hotel and had them call No Kiddinn somebody came to get ya right away. We got lucky and stayed there for 8 nights while Austin was there. Austin was helping out at the spot for a while prior to returning house and she was an awesome host. She spoke really very good English which was reall helpful to us - she gave directions, told us about stir fry alley close by (do not miss this-5 min walk to a road with little local food shops, 10 rmb for an awesome meal! ), organized a tai chi class on the roof for us, laundry etc. it would have been hard at times without her simply because the other employees don&'t speak a word of English. The room was fine for the price- huge window, huge cozy bed w clean sheets that got exchanged once, really noiseless location away from west street but less than 5 min walk to the chaos of downtown. Bicycle rental available as well. overall, I&'d definitely recommend it and would return!

Nice they had a range of movies to watch when wanted some down time. Kids loved the little puppy.

Very helpful staff, you can rent bikes there and get a lot of information. Location is also not too bad, close to the old town yet not too noisy and too numerous tourists outside.

Loveliest employees ever- endlessly helpful, cutest hostel puppy of all time, great social setting inside the common area downstairs- all in all, an awesome spot to stay.

Really warm and friendly helpful staff; lots of films on the tv and you can sit and pick some thing yourself; nice chilled out location to relax just round the corner from the primary touristy street (west street). Comfy beds within the dorm, decent ensuite.
