Beautiful setting, fantastic back yard with three covered hammocks to relax in, clean rooms, bath rooms and kitchen, gorgeous indoor common area. Really warm and friendly and accommodating staff who went out of their way to help us plan our stay in San Gil. We checked out inside the morning although we were not leaving until late that night as properly as the staff let us have full use of the place until we left. Far more mature crowd but nonetheless warm and friendly and social. Finest hostel I have stayed at in all of Central America and Colombia.

One of the best hosteles I stayed in during my trip through South America. The family is sooo helpful and so kind and nice :) I really felt like home. Great cooking area and nice garden with hammoks. The rooms are also very nice and large and you can also use the internet. Everything is clean. They even invited us one time to eat pizza they made themselves - great!

We had a really nice stay. In the garden are hammocks to relax, the kitchen is very outstanding and everyone is very warm and friendly and helpful! They helped us with excursions and bought us bus tickets. Extremely nice location and welcoming family!

Really fantastic atmosphere, beautiful, calm and warm and friendly and in a fantastic location. it is really clean, beds are comfy, and a really nicely equipped cooking area that includes an oven! employees are really helpful and have loads of info on the region and activities and the fresh baked bread is a gorgeous perk, at just 3, 000 pesos for a baguette

It's really a really nice spot to stay, with a really personal character. You feel, that the two owners really like what they do. The rooms are nice and clean, the showers hot, there is certainly a warm and friendly common area. It's just 5 minute walk to the main plaza. We enjoyed the hostel really much. It's definity a really exceptional value for money!

Amazingly friendly and helpful owners who are pleased to help with anything, especially organizing activities around San Gil. They also make INCREDIBLE French baguettes! No cost coffee inside the morning, quick wifi, stunning communal areas and massive kitchen.
