I loved the location. It was near by to a lot of banks, food, and blocks away from the local beach. I stayed here for about 4 nights and inside the middle I took off for Parque Tayrona. The hostel allowed me to leave my bags inside the storage room, which was awesome! I loved my first couple nights, but right after coming back from the park I was exhausted and just wanted some quiet. In case you are searching for some peace and quiet this is not the place for you, they play music until about 2 or 3 inside the morning and there is certainly always some thing going on. It is a wonderful location to begin of your adventure inside the surrounding area of Santa Marta and the hostel itself is beautiful. In case you wish to have a great time and don&'t plan on sleeping much, this is the place for you!

Located in a colonial style house inside the city center. Presents a pool and a bar with outstanding atmosphere.

Facilities were fantastic, the pool, movie room, rooftop terrace and bar made you wish to just stay inside the hostel the whole time.

Although at first it seems like a bigger hostel, the constant involvement of the owners as properly as the exceptional customer service give it the feel of a much more intimate experience. Especially John, Jonathan and Isabella from reception. The Restaurant/Bar had exceptional food and service, also the mexican restaurant next door had the greatest mexican food I had had in Colombia. all at reasonable prices. Sure, you can get your party on at this hostel, but it is large enough that you can also chill out if you aren&'t feeling the fiesta that particular night. Its great for both. awesome for making new friends. Also, Santa Marta as a city itself is a cool destination. I didn&'t see several other gringos out on the streets, which enabled me to strike up conversations with the locals, most of whom were extremely friendly. gotta check this spot out.
