Great garden with an wonderful view of the mountains. The property owner is incredible, she will make coffee, tea or hot chocolate the whole day free of charge and is just lovely. Try to reconfirm your reservation, since the room we reserved was full when we arrived. But the property owner organized a room at a buddies hostel with same conditions, same price, paid the taxi and we had breakfast and everything in her place, so it was no problem at all.

El solar hostal is one of the most peaceful hostels I have stayed in during nearly 16 months in South America. It&'s pretty basic, but it got everything you need. A excellent location to relax for a few days following a large city. A hammock or two should make the location ideal.

This hostel was our favourite. Marta, the lady who owns the hostel, was completely adorable - caring, kind, affectionate. It was so nice to really feel a part of her household and be looked after!

Wonderful property, with a huge garden, thanks to its very good location view onto the hills, along with the property owner Marta is amazing. she will be happy to help you with absolutely everything, including preparing delicious fruitjuices of a vast variety of fruits :) really quiet at night, perfect place to relax. i planned to stay 3 nights, ended up staying 8 :)

What a warm welcome! Hugs all round! Marta is absolutely lovely and made me feel very at home. like one of the family. Great location too, very close to the central Plaza but also lovely and quiet. The place is gorgeous, nestled next to the hills with a big garden. It's also great value for money, my private room was lovely, really cosy and rustic.

Everything! Martha is an awesome woman, so friendly and open. Made me feel really at home. I arrived wet through due to the rain and within 3 mins of arriving I had a hot coffee! Hostel is an awesome place to meet individuals aswell, located just near the principal plaza!
