The owners are very quirky and were very kind to present me with some food the evening I arrived as there is nowhere to get any food within walking distance of Arilapa.

The hotel is located in a large verdant garden of large trees, flowering bushes, green lawn above a rushing stream. Muy tranquilo! There are lots of places to just sit and read or watch birds. Individuals are warm and friendly and helpful.

Great location near airport and city of Alejuela. Peaceful setting along the river. Nice rooms with fantastic common spaces. To create your trip straightforward and stress free, call Arnie the owner for a ride or directions or just take an Orange cab from the airport. The cab fare was about $12.
