Great breakfast. Relaxed and nice atmosphere. The only drawback is its out of town and you need a 15 minute bus to get into Alajuala but its not a large deal. Hieke the property owner is warm, helpful, and takes interest in her guests.

I found the host and hostess to be really personable and friendly. I was so impressed that when I made my return trip back to the states my family and I stayed at the Coconut House. We arrived at dinner time and were pleased to locate that The Coconut house provided us with the choice of having dinner there. Como no It was really good. I will stay there on my next visit to Costa Rica

Having no steps and being near to dining region were outstanding for disabled person. The breakfast was exceptional, with homemade bread and amazing ham and special cheeses to supply plus a variety of jams.

Owners were warm and friendly and helpful, breakfast really good! Only problem was noisy neighbours, yet not too bad.
